Crocodile Satay Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb crocodile meat, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (for garnish)
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili powder, and peanut butter to make the marinade.
  2. Add the crocodile meat cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Thread the marinated crocodile meat onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  5. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through and has grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving.
