Ingredients

  • 4 slices of Italian bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a stovetop grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil.
  3. Grill the bread for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly charred.
  4. Remove the bread from the grill and rub one side with the peeled garlic clove.
  5. In a bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the garlic-rubbed side of the grilled bread slices.
  7. Serve the crostini immediately and enjoy!
