  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 5-6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  4. In a separate bowl, toss the sliced apples with the brown sugar and flour. Arrange the apple slices in the prepared tart crust.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the apples. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender.
  7. Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
