Ingredients
- 6 cups of sliced apples
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Toss to coat the apples evenly, then transfer to a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Add the cold butter pieces and use your fingers to rub the mixture together until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
