Ingredients

  • 6 cups of sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Toss to coat the apples evenly, then transfer to a baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Add the cold butter pieces and use your fingers to rub the mixture together until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
