  • 5 green chilies, chopped
  • 4 shallots, finely sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, bruised
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the shallots and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the green chilies, tomatoes, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
