孜然牛肉 (Cumin Beef) is a classic dish from Northeastern Chinese cuisine, known for its bold flavors and tender beef.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce and cumin powder for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned.
- Add sliced bell pepper and onion, continue to stir-fry until the vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
