Ingredients
- 1 lb crab, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 hot pepper, chopped
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, water, and salt to form a dough. Knead the dough until smooth, then divide it into small balls and flatten them into dumpling shapes.
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the curry powder and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the onion, garlic, and hot pepper to the pot and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the crab pieces to the pot and stir to coat them with the curry mixture.
- Pour in the coconut milk and chicken broth, then add the thyme and black pepper. Cover the pot and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the crab is cooked through.
- While the crab is cooking, bring a separate pot of water to a boil and add the dumplings. Cook for 10-12 minutes, then drain.
