Česká pivo sýrová polévka, or Czech Beer Cheese Soup, is a hearty and flavorful dish that is perfect for a cold winter day. This traditional Czech recipe combines the rich flavors of beer and cheese with the comforting warmth of a creamy soup.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Pour in the Czech pilsner beer and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Pour in the heavy cream and continue to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the soup is heated through and thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
