Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, ginger, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  4. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  5. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
