Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add the sliced onion, carrot, and bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
