Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup potato starch
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup rice syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Coat the chicken wings with potato starch and fry them in the hot oil until crispy and golden brown.
- In a separate pan, combine soy sauce, rice syrup, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, water, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried chicken wings to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
