Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup potato starch
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup rice syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Coat the chicken wings with potato starch and fry them in the hot oil until crispy and golden brown.
  3. In a separate pan, combine soy sauce, rice syrup, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, water, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add the fried chicken wings to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
