Ingredients

  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 2 cups of mixed nuts (such as walnuts, almonds, and pistachios), finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the phyllo dough and cut it into strips about 3 inches wide.
  4. Place a small spoonful of the nut mixture at the end of each strip of phyllo dough.
  5. Roll up the phyllo dough, enclosing the nut mixture, to form a finger-shaped pastry.
  6. Place the pastries on a baking sheet and brush them with the melted butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle the pastries with honey.
  9. Allow the pastries to cool before serving.
