Daktyla Delight

Ingredients
- 1 package of phyllo dough
- 1 cup of almonds, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the chopped almonds, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Unroll the phyllo dough and cut it into strips about 3 inches wide.
- Place a spoonful of the almond mixture at the end of each strip and fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle shape.
- Brush the triangles with melted butter and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey and water until it comes to a simmer.
- Drizzle the honey syrup over the baked triangles.
- Allow the Daktyla to cool before serving.
