Dal Pitha (lentil Pancakes)

Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow lentils
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Soak the lentils in water for 2 hours, then drain.
- Grind the lentils into a coarse paste.
- In a bowl, mix the lentil paste, rice flour, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into flat pancakes.
- Heat a non-stick pan and cook the pancakes until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
