Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, pulse together the flour, butter, sugar, and salt until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add 1 egg yolk and pulse until the dough comes together.
  4. Press the dough into a 9-inch tart pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly.

  6. In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and remaining 3 egg yolks until smooth.
  7. Pour the lemon mixture into the cooled tart crust and spread it evenly.
