Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until finely chopped.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, beaten egg, garlic, ginger, green onions, water chestnuts, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  3. Form the shrimp mixture into small balls, then roll them in cornstarch to coat evenly.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp balls in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
  5. Remove the shrimp balls from the oil and drain on paper towels.
