Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground venison
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground venison, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
  2. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat the dehydrator to 160°F (71°C).
  4. Using a jerky gun, form the venison mixture into long sticks and place them on the dehydrator trays.
  5. Dehydrate the deer sticks for 4 hours, or until they reach your desired level of dryness.
  6. Once dried, allow the deer sticks to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
