Delicia Andina, or Andean Delight, is a traditional Ecuadorian dessert that combines the rich flavors of chocolate and the sweetness of fruit. This indulgent treat is perfect for special occasions or as a sweet ending to a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup of coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons of agave syrup
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup of strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup of toasted almonds, chopped
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the agave syrup until well combined.
- Divide the sliced bananas and strawberries among serving bowls.
- Pour the warm chocolate sauce over the fruit in each bowl.
- Sprinkle the chopped toasted almonds on top.
- Serve the Delicia Andina immediately and enjoy!
