Devonian Delight (Délice Dévonien)
The Délice Dévonien, or Devonian Delight, is a traditional dish from the Devonian cuisine, known for its rich flavors and hearty ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh fish fillets
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fish or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onions, carrots, and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes and broth. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Gently place the fish fillets on top of the vegetables. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
