Dolmeh Felfel (stuffed Bell Peppers With Bulgur)

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 cup bulgur
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the bulgur, onion, tomatoes, parsley, mint, olive oil, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff the bell peppers with the bulgur mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
  7. Serve the dolmeh felfel hot and enjoy!
