Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked short-grain rice
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- 1 cup julienned zucchini
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 4 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Divide the cooked rice among 4 dolsot bowls or regular bowls.
- Arrange the julienned carrots, zucchini, bean sprouts, and shiitake mushrooms on top of the rice in each bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar to make the bibimbap sauce.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the eggs until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
- Place a fried egg on top of the vegetables in each bowl.
- Drizzle the bibimbap sauce over the ingredients in each bowl.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately, stirring everything together before eating.
