Doodh na Puff (दूध ना पफ)
Doodh na Puff is a delicious Parsi dessert made with milk and puff pastry. It's a simple and comforting dessert that is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the milk to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer the milk for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder to the milk, and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the milk mixture cool to room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 6 equal squares.
- Place the puff pastry squares on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Once the puff pastry is baked, let it cool completely.
- To serve, pour the cooled milk mixture into serving bowls and top each bowl with a puff pastry square.
