Doodh na Puff (दूध ना पफ)

Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the milk to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer the milk for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add sugar and cardamom powder to the milk, and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the milk mixture cool to room temperature.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 6 equal squares.
  7. Place the puff pastry squares on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Once the puff pastry is baked, let it cool completely.
  9. To serve, pour the cooled milk mixture into serving bowls and top each bowl with a puff pastry square.
