Ingredients
- 4 fresh fish fillets
- 3 tablespoons chili bean paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, julienned
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and place them on a heatproof plate for steaming.
- In a small bowl, mix together the chili bean paste, soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, garlic, ginger, green onions, vegetable oil, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the sauce.
- Spread the sauce evenly over the fish fillets.
- Steam the fish over high heat for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
- Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the steamer and garnish with additional green onions, if desired.
