Ingredients

  • 8 pieces of dried tofu skin
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup cooked vermicelli noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Soak the dried tofu skin in warm water until it becomes soft and pliable.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the shredded carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, and cooked vermicelli noodles.
  3. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper to the vegetable mixture and mix well.
  4. Place a portion of the vegetable mixture onto each piece of tofu skin and roll it up tightly.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the tofu skin rolls until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Serve the Dou Fu Pi hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
