Double Mustard Delight (shorshe Shorshe)

Ingredients

  • 500g fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 4 tbsp mustard paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish fillets with turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan, add mustard paste, red chili powder, and a little water. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Whisk the yogurt and add it to the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add the fried fish to the mustard sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Double Mustard Delight (Shorshe Shorshe) is ready to be served.
