Dragon's Breath Dumplings (龙之息饺子)
龙之息饺子 (Dragon's Breath Dumplings) is a traditional dish from Chinese Imperial Cuisine that is known for its exquisite flavors and delicate preparation.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups finely chopped Napa cabbage
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 24 round dumpling wrappers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, Napa cabbage, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
- Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold the wrapper in half and press the edges together to seal.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the dumplings.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the dumplings float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
