Dragon's Breath Ramen (Ryū no iki Ramen)

Ingredients

  • 4 packs of ramen noodles
  • 1 lb of pork belly, thinly sliced
  • 4 soft-boiled eggs
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp of grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1 tsp of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the pork belly in a large pot over medium heat until it's crispy. Remove from the pot and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the chicken broth, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions and divide them into four bowls.
  4. Pour the hot broth over the noodles in each bowl.
  5. Top each bowl with the crispy pork belly, soft-boiled egg, and chopped green onions.
  6. Serve the Ryū no iki Ramen hot and enjoy the fiery flavors!
