Ingredients
- 200g dried yam slices
- 4-5 king chillies, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Soak the dried yam slices in water for 15 minutes to rehydrate them.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
- Add the rehydrated yam slices and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced king chillies, salt, turmeric powder, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in the water and cook until the yam is tender and the water has evaporated.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
