Ingredients

  • 1 cup kardantu, chopped
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios), chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer the milk until it reduces to half, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the sugar and continue to cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  5. Once cooled, add the chopped kardantu, mixed dry fruits, and heavy cream to the milk mixture. Mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for at least 6 hours or until set.
  7. Scoop the ice cream into bowls and serve chilled.
