Ingredients

  • 4 cups grated sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated sweet potatoes, grated coconut, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Add the water and mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, or until the ducana is firm and golden brown on top.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
