Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded duck meat
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 empanada discs (store-bought or homemade)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
- Add the shredded duck meat, cumin, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place a spoonful of the duck filling onto each empanada disc, fold it in half, and seal the edges with a fork.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the empanadas until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
