Dukon (karkadeh Marinated Grilled Chicken)

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups strong brewed karkadeh tea, cooled
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the karkadeh tea, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, salt, pepper, and olive oil to make the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and grill marks appear.
  6. Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
