Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead the dough until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Mix well.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into circles. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the edges to form dumplings and press to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the dumplings until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve the dumpling bread hot and enjoy!
