Ingredients

  • 1 pack of dumpling wrappers
  • 250g ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chili oil
  • 2 tablespoons black vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground pork, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture onto a dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper in half, pressing the edges to seal.
  3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the dumplings for 5-6 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  4. While the dumplings are cooking, mix the chili oil, black vinegar, and sugar in a small bowl to make the sauce.
  5. Once the dumplings are cooked, remove them from the water and place them in a serving dish. Pour the chili oil sauce over the dumplings.
