Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, and cilantro)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, yogurt, egg, chopped herbs, salt, and black pepper to make the pancake batter.
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a pot, heat the butter over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until softened.
- Pour the broth into the pot and bring it to a simmer.
- Using a small ladle, pour small amounts of the batter into the simmering broth to form small pancakes. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Once all the pancakes are cooked, serve them in bowls with the broth.
