Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Split the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Spread marinara sauce on the rolls, then place the cooked meatballs on top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
