Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb farmer's cheese
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, melted butter, 3 eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough in half. Roll out one half and place it in the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the farmer's cheese, 1 egg, raisins, and powdered sugar. Spread this mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
  4. Roll out the remaining dough and place it over the cheese mixture, creating a lattice crust.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, or until the crust is golden brown.
