Ingredients

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the pork cubes over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is soft.
  3. Stir in the drained sauerkraut, bay leaves, caraway seeds, paprika, and broth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, then cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
