Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) chopped fresh dill
  • 1 cup (240ml) sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) white wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped dill. Add the chicken cubes and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken is marinating, soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the dill sauce by mixing the sour cream, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, and chopped dill in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the grilled chicken skewers with the dill sauce on the side.
