Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and cook until the vegetables are soft.
  2. Stir in the cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the filling cool.
  3. Place a spoonful of the beef filling in the center of each empanada disc. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, then crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
  4. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the empanadas in batches until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Remove the empanadas from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot and enjoy!
