Ingredients

  • 500g shortcrust pastry
  • 250g beef, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pastry and cut into 4 circles.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the beef, onion, potatoes, carrot, salt, and pepper.
  4. Divide the filling between the pastry circles, placing it on one half of each circle.
  5. Moisten the edges of the pastry with water, then fold the other half over the filling to form a semi-circle. Press the edges together to seal.
  6. Place the pasties on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.
