Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp tamarind paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Next, add the turmeric powder, tamarind paste, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add the prawns and cook until they are done, stirring occasionally.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
