Ingredients

  • 4 roti breads, chopped into small pieces
  • 300g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp roasted curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, and curry leaves. Sauté for a minute.
  2. Add chopped onions and green chilies. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, chili powder, turmeric powder, and roasted curry powder. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil starts to separate.
  5. Add the prawns and cook until they are pink and cooked through.
  6. Now, add the chopped roti pieces and mix well with the prawn mixture. Cook for a few minutes until the roti is heated through.
  7. Season with salt and adjust the spice level if needed.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
