Ingredients
- 4 roti breads, chopped into small pieces
- 300g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp roasted curry powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, and curry leaves. Sauté for a minute.
- Add chopped onions and green chilies. Cook until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- Add diced tomatoes, chili powder, turmeric powder, and roasted curry powder. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil starts to separate.
- Add the prawns and cook until they are pink and cooked through.
- Now, add the chopped roti pieces and mix well with the prawn mixture. Cook for a few minutes until the roti is heated through.
- Season with salt and adjust the spice level if needed.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
