Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2-3 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook the masala until the ghee separates.
  4. Add the cleaned prawns and cook on medium heat until they are coated well with the masala and cooked through.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
