Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. Now, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the cleaned prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
