Erewhon Buffalo Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of melted vegan butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create a batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure to coat it completely, then place it on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the cauliflower for 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter.
  6. Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a clean bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over it, tossing to coat evenly.
  7. Return the cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
