Erewhon buffalo cauliflower is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional buffalo wings. This recipe combines the spicy flavor of buffalo sauce with the crispy texture of cauliflower, creating a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons of melted vegan butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create a batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure to coat it completely, then place it on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower for 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter.
- Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a clean bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over it, tossing to coat evenly.
- Return the cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
