Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter to coat the surface.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
