Fajita
Fajitas are a popular Tex-Mex dish featuring seasoned meat, peppers, and onions, typically served with tortillas and a variety of toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: salsa, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Push the steak to one side of the skillet and add the sliced onion and bell pepper.
- Sprinkle the fajita seasoning over the steak, onion, and pepper, and stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the steak is cooked to your preference.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
- Assemble the fajitas by placing a portion of the steak and vegetable mixture onto each tortilla, and add desired toppings.
