Falooda (creamy Cardamom And Pistachio Milkshake)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup falooda sev (vermicelli noodles)
  • 1/4 cup basil seeds (sabja seeds)
  • 1/4 cup rose syrup
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, and ground cardamom over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Cook the falooda sev according to the package instructions, then rinse with cold water and drain.
  3. Soak the basil seeds in water for 15 minutes until they swell up.
  4. Assemble the falooda by dividing the cooked falooda sev and soaked basil seeds among 4 glasses.
  5. Pour the cooled cardamom milk over the noodles and basil seeds in each glass.
  6. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of rose syrup into each glass.
  7. Top each glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  8. Insert a long spoon and serve immediately, allowing everyone to mix the ingredients together before enjoying the falooda.
