Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

- 1 teaspoon sumac
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, chopped onion, minced garlic, sumac, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, allspice, and cinnamon. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a small circle on a floured surface.
- Place a spoonful of the spinach and cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle.
- Pinch the edges of the dough together to form a triangle, enclosing the filling.
- Place the fatayer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the filling is heated through.
- Remove from the oven and let the fatayer cool for a few minutes before serving.
